Update 8/20/07: The phone now works! First it did, then the screen went blank overnight. Now it's back. SO anyhow, the new one is en route.

Not so much,............

As I've drowned my first mobile phone! Home from work,...QUICK,...must do laundry/Shower! Shirt off, Shoes off,....CARGO PANTS off (you getting the picture? NOT of ME!) and in the washer the clothes did go. It was that dang pocket down the leg in the back.

So anyhow, I realized it several seconds,.....well OK,....minutes into the wash cycle. Pulled out (that's very important you know?!) and dismantled said phone. Shook it, sprayed some air at it and packed it in some desiccant. Will try in a couple days, at least or perhaps I'll be able to get some numbers out of it?

Is my first mobile in my name so to speak? Is NET10 so they I called, on hold for 29 & 1/2 minutes. BUT I was patient seeing as I was the not so sharp one? They will send another phone no charge and honor the 146 minutes I have or had? in waiting. I just have to send old one back in envo they provide.
