KUDOS to Cuisinart Customer Service!


Customer Service still exists in some arenas? Well to sum it up, I was so very pleasantly surprised with outcome of phone call made to Service Center for Cuisinart yesterday. The call was in regards to my Automatic grind/brew, coffee maker. I've been grinding beans in this for a little over two years now? Part of a daily ritual, something I allow myself.

The story goes, a small hole developed in the grinder area, I actually repaired with superglue and a small portion of one of the rings that come on plastic milk bottles? The repair lasted about a month. Then,.....BLAMMO! A much larger hole burst forth, damaging grinder portion beyond repair.

OF course I'd lost the paperwork to that appliance! And of course I have them for appliances I've not had in 7 or 8 years! also for my Cuisinart toaster and blender?

In two minutes time (it seemed?) I was told a new grinder and lid were shipping that day. No charge. The lid was added as,.... I was turning coffeemaker over to access the serial number while on the phone in those "two" minutes and the lid came off, no damage done to it. I related the fact no damage had been done to the service advisor but she said she'd send one anyway? SO should be a week or so we'll have to go with pre-ground. Not a problem.
