my desktop these days

This snapshot is what remains of this aquarium,

so on my desktop it sits today.

I have chosen? at this point anyway, not to repair/replace, refill.

So it sits empty, but not in a terribly sad way.

I must admit missing, the quiet hum of the motor,

watching the bubbles do what bubbles do,

and feeding the little creatures in the morning.

As for my life this day? Empty, but again not in a terribly sad way.

Living and learning as I go. Hmm?

Many lessons to be learned.

May the learning never cease, the lessons few repeat.

I am rather content and quite aware that I am so very fortunate.

Must keep eyes, ears, emotions and imagination open to change and opportunity.
